"Normal" translation

"Normal" translation is the well known, traditional lingual process of exchanging and adaption of a text from one language (source language) to another (target language), sometimes to more languages. These orders are usually fulfilled by qualified translators, though sometimes, if the tranlation requires deeper and more special knowledge which can be presented only by professionals specialized in a field, we prefer them to general translators.

We always consider the type of document, as the translation of content based documents (contracts, user guides) differs from the processing required by form based texts (advertisements, poems). While it is also very important to follow the client instructions and the intended future use.

We can deliver "Normal" translations as fast as you wish. Shorter, 2-3 page long texts can be translated within a few hours though it is cheaper if we get two days. We have already translated tender documentations within a few days and technical specifications in some weeks time.

"Certified translation" vs. "Official translation"

In cases, when you need to submit documents to authorities, you might need certified translation of financial reports, certificates. In Hungary the simplest description of "Certified translation" is what is made by OFFI (Hungarian Office for Translation and Attestation Company). This doesn't mean that all OFFI translations are certified, only that thankfully to a regulation, OFFI is the only company to provide certified translation accepted by authorities.

Don't feel that we are about to send you to OFFI! On one hand they don't pay us any bonus, on the other hand we can provide you a cheaper, faster and more comfortable solution!

We - as other translation agencies - can make a so called "Official translation". Official translation is norma translation, which has been proofread, printed on our official paper with a bilingual certification and official stamp. This is much cheaper and faster than OFFI's 30 day long process but it is not accepted by all authorities. It is very important to ask the addressee about accepting before ordering official translation of documents.

Localization

Localizing is a special type of translation. During localization the preservation of the global content, the form and the desired effect is often more important than the exact meaning of words. Localization requires different view and way of thinking than "Normal translation". The translator's creativity comes to the surface during localization, while it is not typical during "Normal" translation procedures.
